WHAT IS TELEMEDICINE FROM AFC URGENT CARE?
Telemedicine refers to virtual visits between you and your doctor. A virtual visit is a safe, convenient alternative to medical appointments when an in-person visit isn’t feasible. With a computer or smartphone, you can speak with a physician to get your questions answered.
We’re thrilled to offer our patients virtual access to top-quality care from AFC Urgent Care doctors.
HOW DO I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Telehealth appointments are booked through the Solv health app. If you’re not already a registered user with Solv, you’ll need to complete registration paperwork. During the registration process, you’ll need to select a time and enter your phone number. Then, you’ll be sent a text with your Solv verification code. You can then login to your account, complete the registration process, and select “consent of use for telemedicine”. Book a telemedicine visit with AFC Urgent Care.
Once your virtual visit with our office has been confirmed, please ensure that all paperwork and credit card information is complete and accurate. Also, please check that your phone number is up-to-date.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY VIRTUAL VISIT?
After your virtual visit is confirmed, a member of our AFC medical staff will call you to clarify a few medical history questions. The purpose of this call is to understand your medical needs and prepare our doctors for your appointment.
When your care provider is ready for your appointment, we’ll send you a text message with a link to join the video chat.
