Andreas Grossgold, MD, PhD
Dr. Grossgold obtained his M.D. degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Military University in Bogota, Columbia and thereafter completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his Internship in Emergency Medicine at Houston’s Memorial Hospital under the supervision of Dr. James “Red” Duke and then completed a double residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Memorial Children’s Hospital and Texas Children’s Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and American Academy of Urgent Care. Dr. Grossgold serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserves, and presently acts as Battalion Surgeon for the 4th assault Battalion of the U.S.M.C. He additionally has a PhD in Integrative Medicine and maintains a related practice in the Clearwater area. He is fluent in French, German, Italian and Spanish.
